The Award-Winning Golden Spike Can Can Dancers are a non-profit group of ladies who volunteer their time and energy into practicing and dancing to raise money and support local charities. They are sponsored by the Pleasantside Community Association, a registered non-profit organization. They're also the proud recipients of Port Moody's 2016 Heritage Award! |
Golden Spike Can-Can Dancers Golden Spike Can Can Dancers have performed at the Golden Spike Days festival for more than 40 years and in recent years, they have hosted a booth at the celebration where they sell garters by donation and take pictures with visitors to raise money. Throughout the rest of the year, they perform and make appearances at fundraisers, casino nights, golf tournaments, senior homes and other special events.

Inlet Jazz Band The Inlet Jazz Band was founded by Port Moody Secondary School music teacher Gord Hembruff in 1992. The band has been led by Andrew Clark since 2012. We mostly perform local in the Tri-Cities and have done two tours of Cuba. You can find recordings of our recent Cuba performances on YouTube.
